Daniel Vincent Delannoy, 57, of Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2021. Born on February 4th,1964 in Woonsocket, he was the son of Aline (Vincent) and the late Rene Delannoy. He is survived by his children Danielle and Naomi Delannoy, as well as his beloved grandchildren Emily and Milo. Daniel was the brother of Gerard Delannoy and Monique Jodoin.
By trade, he was a diesel mechanic. He went on to master carpentry mid-career with the guidance of his brother, Gerard. He used his knowledge to help others and enjoyed planning projects with his daughters for their homes. He leaves us with many memories of his smile and contagious laughter. He enjoyed goofing around and entertaining a crowd. He was a force to be reckoned with but had a heart of gold. He loved to eat, he loved to sing, but most of all he loved his grandchildren: Emily and Milo. They were his world-- he was a constant presence in their lives and enjoyed spoiling them as only a "Pappy" or "Pepere" can.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road in Cumberland.
Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM, prior to the service in the O'Neill Funeral Home.
