Daniel Arthur Billings

Daniel Arthur Billings, 66, of Cumberland, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Born in Albany, NY, he was the eldest son of the late Barbara (Bond) and Theodore Billings. 

Daniel grew up in Little Falls, NY before attending college at Hofstra University, and ultimately received his master's degree from Union College before moving to Massachusetts. Daniel worked as a quality engineer for 20+ years before changing careers and following his passion in the field of education. He enjoyed teaching business statistics and mathematics as a college professor for many years prior to his retirement. Daniel always embodied and emphasized the importance of staying curious through lifelong learning.

He is survived by his children, Samuel Billings and his wife Cassandra Billings, and Danirose Marandino and her husband Michael Marandino. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Robert and Ramsey Billings, and his siblings, Teddi Noonan, and Fred Billings.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 261 W. Wrentham Road, Cumberland.
