Cynthia J. (Proctor) Dacanay, 67, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 29, 2025. She was the wife of Percival Dacanay. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Arlene (Pye) Proctor. Cynthia served in the US Navy, where she met her husband, Percival, who was born in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Cynthia worked as an Auditor for the Bristol County Sheriffs Office for many years.

Besides her husband Percival, she is survived by her two daughters Ashley Dacanay and Chelsea Dacanay. Cynthia also leaves her siblings: John Proctor of Lunenburg MA, Belinda Scamporino of Derry NH, and Amy Hamner of Oktaha, OK. She was the sister of the late Lee Proctor of Manassas VA.

The Funeral and Burial will be private.
