Clare Forde, of Albion, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 25, 2023. Born in Brighton, MA, she was the beloved wife of the late Kevin Forde, daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Conway) Meley, and proud mother of Genevieve Forde Bremseth, and son in law Lucas Bremseth of Centennial, CO. She was the loving grandmother of Kevin Bremseth, whom she forever adored.

Clare also leaves two nephews, Christopher Forde and Thomas Ducey, four nieces, Natasha Buckley, Annemarie Ring, Kathleen Bukowski, and Andrea Garipay, and eleven great nieces and nephews. Clare was proceeded in death by her sister, Mary Lou of Wilmington, MA.

She'll be forever remembered for her love of history, libraries, travel, good food and wine, Boston sports, and her ability to talk to anyone.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Boston, MA, details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Clare, to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Adult Brain Tumor Fund, C/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute , Boston, MA, would be greatly appreciated.
