Claire V. Foisy ,90, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2024. She was the daughter of the Late Oscar and Sylvina (Legasse) Lapre. She was the devoted wife to the late Alphonse Foisy. She is survived by her children Suzanne Amaral, Caroline Lizotte, Michael Foisy, and Ronald Foisy.

Claire was the sister to Ernest Lapre and Elaine Gagnon. She was predeceased by Leo Lapre, Clarence Lapre, Janet Descoteaux, Anita Houle, Yvette Lapre, Theresa DuBrevil and Rita Perry. She was the devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, Michael Wade Foisy, Connor Lizotte, and Yaicha Thompson.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday May 2, 2024, at 10am in St. John Vianney Church, 3587 Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. The family will be receiving guests prior to Mass at St. John Vianney Church.

Burial will be private for extended family.
