Christine Demty, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Demty. They were happily married for 64 years. Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Basilio and Palma (Rupoli) Antelli. She lived most of her life in Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Paul Demty and his wife Deborah, Joseph Demty, and Linda Ranney and her husband Terry, her grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, and Nicholas Demty, Christian, Austin, and Lauren Ranney. Mrs. Demty was the youngest of ten children. Relatives and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10am in Saint Basil The Great Church 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Saint Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm in Saint Basil The Great Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Basil's Building Fund or Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, would be appreciated.
