Charles E. Marcotte, "Pete", 94, of Lincoln and formerly of North Providence, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 01, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Violet (Raheb) Marcotte. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Roseana (Tourigny) Marcotte. Charles was an army veteran of World War II. He was a firefighter for the city of Pawtucket. He then was the State Fire Marshall before retiring. He is survived by his children, Charles Marcotte Jr. and his wife Michele, Gary Marcotte and his wife Marie, Brian Marcotte and his wife Linda, and David Marcotte and his wife Maria; his brother, Roland Marcotte, his sister, Jeannine Craik. He also leaves six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Albert Marcotte, Desire Marcotte, Lena Rouillard, Gerard Marcotte, and Florence Vensky. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday, November 7th at 10 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Saint Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours Monday from 8:30-9:50 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church.
