Cecil Hallam, 84, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Avis (Broadbent) Hallam. Born in Streator, Illinois, he was the son of the late Edgar and Maxine (Thompson) Hallam.

Although Cecil Hallam was his name by birth, he was "Dad" to children, Laurie (and Ron) Wagner and David (and Kristen) Hallam, "Poppy" to his 7 granddaughters, (Kayla, Brianne, Alie, Beth, Olivia, Madeline, & Kassidy), 3 honorary grandsons (Kyle, Adam, & Nick), and 4 great-grandchildren (Leah, Cameron, Cora, & Brody). He was one of nine children and "Brother" to his siblings (Vanetta, James, George, Ernest, Donald, Samuel, & the late Ima and Ruth). Cecil was a navy veteran serving on the USS Arcadia in Newport, RI from 1957-1961.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours on Friday, April 4th, from 4:00 – 6:30 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service at O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
