Candida Rosa Cartagena, 63, of Providence, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Hector Jose Romero and Maria Cartagena. Candida was a homemaker and took pride in raising her family.

She is survived by her twelve children, Marcos, Sharon, James, Alejandro, Rosa, Yahaira, Jennifer, Jazmin, Sylvia, Silverio, Keilyn, and Jose. Candida also leaves twenty-two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 6th, at 1:00 PM, in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Rd. Cumberland. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.

The burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.
