Brian Michael McBride, 57, of Albion, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Raised in Cumberland, he was the beloved son of Albert McBride Jr. and the late Leonora (Barbaria) McBride. Brian graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University.

A man of unwavering integrity, discipline, and service, Brian began his distinguished career as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent. Following that assignment, he served as an Examiner with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He then found his true calling as a Federal Air Marshal, where he served with honor and distinction for the past 24 years. Throughout his career, he earned the admiration and respect of colleagues for his professionalism, sound judgement, and commitment to the safety of others. Those who knew Brian will remember him, not only for his remarkable career, but also for his kindness, quiet strength, and steadfast loyalty. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Beyond his professional career, Brian was deeply committed to physical fitness. He believed in continually striving to become stronger, both physically and mentally, and inspired others through his example. A lifelong martial artist, he attained the rank of 3rd degree black belt.

In addition to his father, Albert McBride Jr., Brian is survived by his brothers, Robert McBride and his wife Kathryn, and Kenneth McBride. He was a loving uncle to his nephew Jordan McBride, his niece Ashley McBride, and his great-niece Penelope Moreno.
