Beverley L. Smallwood

Beverley L. Smallwood, 98, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side Friday, October 30, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Smallwood. They were happily married for 69 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James and Elsie (Long) Leary.

Beverley lived most of her life in Pawtucket.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Smallwood, Allan Smallwood, Shirley Chevalier, and her foster daughter Michele Lottinville; six grandchildren, Thomas Smallwood, Daniel Smallwood, Kerrie Schipper, Karen Smallwood, Kimberly Edwards, and Robert Rybak Jr.. She also leaves many great-grandchildren, and her cat, Princess. She was the sister of the late Lawrence Leary and Marjorie Whalen.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. The burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 4th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, prior to the Service, in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
