Benedykt Michalowski,78, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Janina Ekstowicz) Michalowski. Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Dominik and Helena (Niecikowska) Michalowski.\r

Mr. Michalowski was employed as a plater by Monet Jewelers.\r

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Slawek Michalowski and his wife Ewa, his daughter Krystyna Mazzulla and her husband Anthony, his grandchildren Wally and Andre Mazzulla, and Casey and Sofia Michalowski. He was also the great-grandfather of Aaron, Jared, Jeremy, Janina, and Briella Mazzulla.\r

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert''s Church, Atwells Avenue, Providence at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-8PM. Burial will be in St. Ann''s Cemetery, Cranston.\r
