Barbara O. Wojcik, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was the wife of Joseph Wojcik Jr. They were happily married for 53 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Helena (Jones) Owens. Barbara was a teacher's aide for kindergarten at Cunningham School of the Pawtucket School Department for many years before retiring. She enjoyed visiting Twin River Casino, spending time with her girlfriends at Slater Park, attending shows at PPAC, and most of all, the time she spent with her family. Barbara's family would like to thank the staff and friends at Mount Saint Rita Health Centre, Cumberland and Hope Health of RI for the care and compassion she received.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Stacey Tani and her husband Dennis, and Jennifer Wojcik, her brother, John Owens, her sister, Patricia Owens, and her grandchildren, Christopher Tani and Madeline Tani.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Shirley Daly.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 21st at 11 AM in Saint Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours 9-10:30 AM prior to the Mass in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.

Barbara's favorite color was blue. The family invites you to wear blue in celebration of her life.
