Barbara Romani passed into eternal life on August 20, 2023. She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Leo and Ada (Tonelli) Romani.

She was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Education. Barbara was a teacher and principal in the Pawtucket School District for over 37 years. She retired as the principal of Agnus Little School.

Barbara was a volunteer at the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital as well as several women's charitable clubs and a member of the Royal Travelers. She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Church in Pawtucket.

Barbara is survived by her nieces, Donna Glavin and Courtney Rios (Vincent) as well as her great nephew Mason Rios. She was the sister of the late Lola Glavin and the late Nedo Romani.

Barbara was the aunt of the late Kevin Glavin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara on Monday, August 28th at 10:00 AM in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Her burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
