Barbara E. Greason, 93, of North Providence, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was the wife of the late Dr. Thomas Greason and the late Robert C. Desjarlais. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonette DeStefanis.

Barbara worked alongside her husband as a medical secretary for thirty seven years before retiring. She enjoyed travelling, was a member of the former Fruit Hill Neighborhood Association, an avid reader, and volunteered for a time at the Adult Daycare Center run by the Franciscan Nuns of North Providence. What she enjoyed most of all was spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Gloria Riley, her sister-in-law, Ann DeStefanis, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph DeStefanis Jr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 AM in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Visitation will be held on Saturday, prior to the Mass, from 8:15 - 9:15 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket.

The burial will be private.
