Obituary

Armand G. Marcotte, 102, of Attleboro, MA for the past forty years and formerly of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on March 12, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Bridget (Greene) Marcotte. Born in Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late Albert and Augusta (Gelinas) Marcotte.

Armand was a retired cook for The Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI, where he was employed for over twenty years. He served in the US Army Air Force and was stationed in England, where he met the love of his life, Bridget.

He is survived by his nephews, John and Barry Greene, of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and his brothers Marcel Marcotte of Smithfield, RI and Laurent Marcotte of Southbridge, MA. Armand leaves behind many nieces and nephews in the local area and across the country. He was the brother of the late Real Marcotte, Felix Marcotte, Omer Marcotte, George Marcotte, Rita Champagne, Claire Jutras and Irene Lemonde.

Armand was an avid gardener in his earlier days and was proud of his tomato crops and very anxious to share them with friends and family. He had a very sharp mind and was ready and most recently able and willing to challenge anyone to a competitive game of Cribbage. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Saint John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Dagget Avenue, Pawtucket.

Visitation will take place prior to Mass from 9:00 - 10:30 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
