Antone Ernest Paiva, 81, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 20, 2023. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Antone M. and Catherine (Arute) Paiva. He was the husband of the late Kathryn (Graham) Paiva. Antone worked as a machinist/ toolmaker with Leviton manufacturing for over 35 years prior to retiring.

He served with the US Army from 1961 to 1964, including service in Germany with Battery D, 3rd Missile Battalion, 7th Artillery. He served with the 1043rd Maintenance Company, RI Army National Guard, from 1975 to 1993, when he retired as a Sargeant.

He is survived by his son James Paiva and his wife Katrina. He was father to the late Antone E. Paiva Jr., and the late Thomas Paiva. Antone also leaves his siblings Robert Paiva, Steve Paiva, and the late David Paiva. He was the grandfather of 8 grandchildren and the great grandfather of 4 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, October 28th, at 1:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
