Obituary

Annie S. Zainyeh, 94, of North Kingstown and formerly of Pawtucket, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was a daughter of the late George S. and Kanom (Asermely) Zainyeh. Annie was born in Pawtucket and enjoyed summering in Jamestown for over 40 years. Annie's resiliency and ability to "find a way" no matter the challenge or life circumstance, while remaining kindhearted to all was one of her defining traits.

She was a data review technician for the Social Security Administration for 16 years before retiring in 1976. A devoted longtime member of Saint Basil The Great Church, she was a member of the church Altar Society and the church senior citizens group. She was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 13.

She is survived by her brother, Anthony Zainyeh. She also leaves one nephew, four nieces and several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Michael Zainyeh, Rose Zainyeh, Mary Zainyeh, and Charles Zainyeh.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial Thursday, January 20th at 10 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9-10 AM, prior to the Liturgy in Saint Basil The Great Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Basil's Building Fund, in memory of Annie, would be appreciated.
