Anne Juliana (Raymond) Ricard, 89. The loving wife of the late Robert T Ricard and cherished daughter of the late Harold and Julia (Kumiega) Raymond passed away at the hospital on February 21, 2022. She leaves behind two sons; Raymond A. Ricard, wife Maria of Pawtucket and Andrew J. Ricard , wife Lelia of Somerset. Seven Grandchildren, Ashley A. Ricard, Robert Ricard, wife Jenna, Jeremy Ricard, wife Brittany, Kelsey Ricard, husband Varshaun, Ava Ricard, Alyssa Teixeira, and Maegan Teixeira. Four Great- Grandchildren Nora, Amelia, Alex, and Amara.
Anne leaves behind a storied legacy and a love of fashion, design, and travel. A former buyer of Lord & Taylor and G. Fox, teacher at Cumberland High School and College Professor at CCRI running the fashion and design program along with heading up the DECA program, until her retirement. She was co-owner of the Candle Wreath gift shop with her husband in Cumberland, RI. Anne was Co-Owner and Operator of Ricard Jewelers, alongside her son, Raymond. She was an avid traveler, never missing the opportunity to cruise around the world, oftentimes with family members in tow. An animal lover, who will always be remembered for the toy poodles she so loved, her constant companions through much of her life. She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Parish in Pawtucket and an avid member of the Senior Group, where she served as past President.
Rite of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa's Church, 385 Newport Ave Pawtucket on Saturday morning, February 26th, &at 9:00am. Calling hours will be held out of Manning-Heffren Funeral Home, 68 Broadway Pawtucket on Friday from 4-7 pm. Interment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
