Anna Wildemara (Doriczka) Federighi, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2026, in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Federighi of Pawtucket, RI. Born on February 20th, 1938, in Zolotnyky, Ternopil, Ukraine, Anna was the daughter of the late Ivan Doriczk and Magdalena (Gajdalo) Romaniw.

In April of 1944, Anna was forced to leave her home due to World War II, and spent her childhood in various displaced persons camps in Germany after the war. In February of 1957, Anna and her family immigrated to Pawtucket, where she lived for the rest of her life.

She worked in various mills until she retired. After retiring, Anna worked as a lunch lady at Pawtucket Schools for 10 years.

She was named “Babo” by her great granddaughters, and was known to share stories of her time in Germany and her Ukrainian culture with them. Anna loved going to Saint Micheal the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Woonsocket, along with her cousin, Oksana Gajdalo, of Pawtucket.

Along with her mother and father, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Federighi; her younger sister, Irene (Doriczka) Trembacz; and her older brother, Waldemar Doriczk.

She is survived by her only child and daughter, Margaret (Doriczka) Grimley, and her husband, William Grimley, of North Smithfield; her grandchildren: Rebecca (Grimley) Ruzzano, and her husband, Darrin Ruzzano of Scituate, RI; Ryan Grimley, and his partner, Paola Moreno, of North Providence; and her younger sister, Olga (Romaniw) Strom, of Pawtucket.

She was extremely cherished by her great grandchildren: Gianna Ruzzano, Ava Ruzzano, and Riah Grimley.

She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Tuesday April 14th, at 11:00 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

The calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 14th, prior to the Service, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
