Ann Bateman Shannon died in peace, in the early hours of May 20, 2023. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Anna H. (McSweeney) Bateman. Ann retired in 2020 from The Shannon Agency, an insurance business which she founded in 1983.

She is survived by her four children, eight loving grandchildren, and her brother.
