Ann Anctil

Ann Anctil, 83, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Louise (Eaton) and Harold Sanger.

Ann attended Saint Joseph School in Pawtucket and graduated in 1957. She went on to graduate from Tolman High School in 1960. She attended the Our Lady of Fatima Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1961 and later attended Community College in 1973. Ann was a Registered Nurse for 50 years, from 1973 to 2022, and retired in 2012 after 28 years of service at UMass Memorial Hospital.

Ann is survived by her son, Timothy Anctil, and his husband, Glenn Humble. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephew, Kathi Volpe, Beth Sanger, and Scott Sanger. Ann was the sister of the late William Sanger and Earl Sanger, and was predeceased by her niece, Susan Sanger.

Funeral and burial will be private.
