Albert P. Yany, 90, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Tomm) Yany. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Anthony and Jennie (Nassaney) Yany. Albert was an air force veteran of the Korean War. He was a machinist for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, David Yany and his wife Susan, Jimmy Yany and his wife Jill, Barbara Brown and her husband Steven, Christine Musial and her husband Chet, and Terri Daley and her husband Mike. His brother, Louis Yany, and his sister, Bertha Sanky. He also leaves his grandchildren, Heather, Lauren, Sarah, Jennifer, Cassandra, Ariana, Jason, Andrew, Alex, Jacob, and Allison, and his great-granddaughter, Emmersyn. He was the grandfather of the late Michael Yany and the brother of the late Harvey and Joseph Nassaney, and Deacon George Yany.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday, April 11 ^th at 10 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
