Alan P. Seward, 75, of N. Smithfield, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. Born in Marion County, Indiana, he was the son of Wilson A. and Esther P. (Pearson) Seward. He was the husband of Frances P. (Archambault) Seward of 41 years. Alan was the brother of Dale Seward (Joan), Christine Smith, Esther Mansuetti, and Gary Seward. He is also survived by his nephews Timothy Seward, Jeff Smith, and William Hawkins as well as his nieces, Sarah Worden and Wendy Alpaio.

Alan worked at Raytheon for many years and was self employed for many years before retiring from Kidde-Fenwal of Ashland, MA. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, painting, and especially loved working with his hands. He was amazing at making things out of wood.

A private service and Burial with Military Honors will be held at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery on October 4, 2024.
