Agnes R. Goyette, 99, of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on November 15, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Rosanna Poirier. She was the devoted wife of the late Earl J. Goyette. They were married for 55 years.
She worked as an office worker for Lance Paper Box Co. for many years prior to retiring.
Agnes is survived by her children, Eileen A. Falvey, Donald E. Goyette, Marie A. Dufresne, Barbara J. Femino, Ruth B. Johannis, Lorraine T. Goyette, Elizabeth J. Brousseau (Normand), Daniel M. Goyette, and Thomas P. Goyette. She was predeceased by her son, the late Stephen M. Goyette, and her Sons-in-Law, Richard A. Johannis, Robert M. Falvey, and Stephen J. Femino. Agnes was the sister of the late Florence L. Poirier. She was the grandmother of all her favorite grandchildren Erik Dufresne, Kristen Dufresne Tucker (Bryan), Katherine Canning (Thomas), Alyssa Cadoret (Mark), Michael Goyette, Ashley Femino, Ryan Goyette, and Mia Goyette. A great-grandmother to several great-grandchildren. An aunt to Wendy Peeters.
Agnes was a 1942 graduate of Saint Xavier Academy in Providence. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and Holy Family Parish, a volunteer at the Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center, a member of the Leon Mathiew Senior Center, and a member of Saint Teresa Senior Citizens.
Family and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 20th at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church of The Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Burial will be immediately after Mass in Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, November 19th, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Agnes' memory can be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank , 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence.
